I specialize in piano tuning, grand and upright reconditioning, grand and upright regulation/servicing and repairs. For 5 people that are referred by you to me and accept my services I will give you a 10% discount on one straight piano tuning for yourself by me. I charge R550 for an upright tuning and R650 for a grand. I consider a tuning to be a straight forward tuning, with, if necessary, a moderate pitch correction too. A piano needing a major pitch correction, half a semitone or more, will be charged for over and above the normal tuning fee. A major pitch correction will cost an additional R250. Any other work needing to be done will be consulted on and only be commenced on customer acceptance.

Pretoria Symphony Orchestra

We need some extra competent amateur string players, mostly viola's and violin's. .
In short we are an orchestra comprised of musicians who are passionate about music, but who are not "professional players" if I can put it that way, some are, but most of us have other jobs or are music teachers. We do not get paid to play in the orchestra.
